IATF West Zone Congress 2026 – | Indore The IATF West Zone Congress 2026 concluded on 11 January 2026 at Delhi Public School, Rau, Indore, bringing to a close two inspiring days of learning, dialogue and collaboration within the French-language teaching community. The closing ceremony was honoured by the presence of esteemed representatives of the Institut français en Inde, members of the National Committee of the Indian Association of Teachers of French (IATF), Ms. Asha Nair, Principal of DPS Rau, and Mr. Hari Mohan Gupta, Pro-Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School Rau, whose support and encouragement added special significance to the occasion. The Congress was officially declared closed by Ms. Sophie Henquinet, Attachée de coopération pour le français at the Institut français en Inde, together with Mr. Hari Mohan Gupta, in the presence of over 80 French-language teachers representing diverse regions and educational institutions from across India. Day Two concluded with six engaging workshops on a variety of themes, leaving participants enriched, inspired and equipped with practical ideas and tools to take back to their classrooms. The enthusiasm, interaction and shared passion for pedagogy were evident until the very end. As we close this memorable chapter in Indore, we look ahead with great excitement to the World Congress of French Teachers, to be held in 2029 in Pune, continuing our collective journey of excellence in French language education. A fitting conclusion to an unforgettable congress, and the beginning of many new pedagogical horizons. IATF West Zone Congress 2026 – Closing Ceremony | Indore The IATF West Zone Congress 2026 successfully concluded on 11 January 2026 at Delhi Public School, Rau, Indore, marking the end of two enriching days dedicated to professional development, collaboration and the promotion of French language education in India. The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished representatives of the Institut français en Inde, members of the National Committee of the Indian Association of Teachers of French (IATF), Ms. Asha Nair, Principal of DPS Rau, and Mr. Hari Mohan Gupta, Pro-Vice Chairman, Delhi Public School Rau, whose presence and encouragement added great value to the occasion. Celebrated Christmas with its true essence DPSITES from Rau shouldered social responsibility of sharing and caring . "When young hearts learn to give, the world learns to heal." Delhi Public School Rau organised ‘ *Ek Muthi Anaj’, on Friday 26 December,2025 an AFS initiative,* to instil compassion and empathy in students. Believing that a handful of grain can help feed the world, students from *Classes III to XII collected rice, dal, soya, chana ,dryfruits and sugar.* The food was donated to *Nirashrit Sevashram, Indore, an old age home.* Beyond the donation, students spent quality time with the elderly—chatting, singing and sharing smiles, creating moments of warmth and joy. The Principal, Ms. Asha Nair, lauded the efforts of the students and appreciated their generous hearts. She emphasized that the future generation must imbibe the culture of giving to build a compassionate and hunger-free world. Grand Closure of The DPS National Basketball Tournament for Boys 2025 at Delhi Public School Rau. Top 16 qualified teams from the Country participated in the Nationals. The Matches played demonstrated high energy, mental and physical agility breathtaking moments to trickling tears. The finale was played between the favourites Bangalore South versus Faridabad and Bangalore South emerged victorious. The Hardline between Bangalore East and Bulandshahr,Bangalore East fought out to clinch the 2nd Runners up trophy. Harshn Yatish of Bangalore South was declared as the Player of the Tournament . Chief Guest, Avinash Anandji the Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Basketball Federation felicitated the teams. The event commenced with the ceremonial Sports Flag Hoisting, symbolising unity, pride, and true sportsmanship. This was followed by an impressive Walk Past Parade, where all participating teams marched with confidence, drawing enthusiastic applause from students, staff, and parents. The inauguration gained momentum with the Lighting of the Lamp by Principal Ms. Asha Nair, Chief Guest Mr. Kulvinder Singh Gill, and other dignitaries, marking the beginning of a promising sporting event. DPS Rau also felicitated the chief guest Mr. Kulvinder Singh Gill, Secretary General of Basketball Federation of India for his valuable contribution to the sport. Addressing the young athletes, Mr. Gill encouraged them to play with passion, discipline, and resilience, reminding them that true winners are defined by their character both on and off the court. In her welcome address, Principal Ms. Asha Nair urged all participants to uphold integrity, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament.
