Delhi Public school Rau Celebrates Global Youth Service Day

Delhi Public school Rau believes in setting a benchmark towards community service. Standing tall with its Mission and Vision.

Today the community club students along with the various club students went for a day of childhood reminiscence and spreading joy amongst the pupils at Ujjwal Bhavishya Sewa aashram. To explore the boundaries beyond the books, staying connected to ethical and moral values and remain down to earth, pupils at Delhi Public School Rau spent quality time amongst the children in the Ashram to share the skills with the young camaraderie.

It was a full fledged saga of learning for DPSites to learn and gain knowledge from these pupils. Igniting a sense of social responsibility and garnishing the environment with soothing aroma of Humanity,

Five Activites were designed by the club students of DpsRau to train the 45 children of the Ashram. The day started with a prayer, followed by icebreaking activity. The children were divided into five groups as per the age n skills. The enthusiastic Dpsites taught them quilling art, painting , making *paper bouquets and rug out of saree/dupatta.

They also grooved on the tunes of music beautifully sung by our pupils. The 5 hours spent with these Ashram kids was a blessing in disguise. Class VII pupils read stories for them.

The pupils of DPSRAU donated colour pencils, Sketch pens, Crayons,Acrylic colours, drawing sheets, story books and notebooks.

The culinery club students along with their teachers prepared mouth watering Pav Bhaji, khopra pak and soothing refreshing Mojito drink to quench their throat.

The students portraited the perfect camaraderie and once again lived to the motto “Service Before Self”.

AVENTURA - Overnight Camp

"The tans will fade but the memories will last forever." Pupils of Class 3 and 4 accumulated the best memories and had the most wonderful time of their life as they spent a night in the school in an action packed Overnight Camp AVENTURA 2023 conducted by DPS Rau Indore on 1st and 2nd March 2023. The pupils enjoyed their independence and time away from home as they were kept gainfully engaged with a variety of fun-filled and supervised adventurous activities. The event kick started with a peppy game session with enthusiastic parents followed by an informative Gerontology workshop which gave a vital life lesson to young learners.

Treasure Hunt was planned to set up teambuilding activities to encourage groups to work together and communicate. Thrilling and exhilarating activities like bunjee jumping, water zorbing , toss the rings and many more added the sensory experience of being in the lap of nature. 

Learning to relate with the team activities; enhancing life skills such as perseverance, confidence and being able to understand the interdependence of humans with nature were the objectives of the camp. Laughter and giggles echoed through the corridors of the school as students enjoyed sharing jokes and riddles with their teachers.

Talent Show added warmth to the cool evening not only by lighting the bonfire but also by gracious presence of Director Academics JSWS Dr.Dharam Verma , Principal Ms.Asha Nair and Head Mistress Ms.Vaishali Kharnal enjoying with young campers. They mingled freely with all the children and even danced with them.

The highlight of the evening was the groovy and foot tapping music. The pupils and teachers danced and swayed to the lively beats till late evening.The dawn rose with a trekky mood to Rala Mandal which became the favourite activity of all the pupils with the commendable efforts of Sports department.The creative streak of tattooing and artistic skills of pupils were shaped when they a made souvenir for themselves. A buttoning workshop was also conducted by the fashion department of the school to enhance their fine motor skills. The scrumptious meal and lip smacking snacks provided at regular intervals were thoroughly relished by the children. The camp concluded with the cheery spiritted testimonials of honest kids who loved to share their hearty views during the prize distribution ceremony in which pupils were patted for their extraordinary and remarkable performances. All the children learnt to adapt, transform and embrace challenges that were given to them during this camp. It was indeed a memorable and learning experience for all the kids and an event to cherish forever!

Delhi Public School Soaked the beginning of the 2023 calendar in the Nectar of Music and Rhythm

DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL RAU WAS SEEN IN HER BEAUTY FULLY ORNATED WITH VARIOUS city schools STUDENT WHO CAME TO PARTICIPATE in the Gurudev Gupta interschool musical Band competition Euphoria_the musical symphony 2023 .

The individual disciplines were , keyboard, guitar,flute sarod and drums, The theme of the competition was based on Patriotism.

The euphoric redention pulled the audience in the pool of mystic, magical Bollywood vocals, Indian traditional vocals and English vocals. Group performances were put up by school bands and choirs. Some of the participating schools were Golden International School, Birla Open Mind School , The Emerald Height international , New Digambar school, Delhi Public School Nipania, Bhopal and Neelbard.

"The true beauty of music carried the message that MUSIC STILL PREVAILS IN THE HEART OF YOUNG PUPILS.


The Chief Guest Pandit Deepak Garud ji AND ALL THE JUDGES WERE SEEN SPELLBOUND with the strings of the instruments and the vocals of the melodious singers creating an ambience of soothing symphony. The competition was well judged by the musical maestros Mr. Manish Modak, Shri Vithal Rajpura and Shri Sachin Patwardhan.The vivacity of the performances enthralled everyone. The competition wrapped up enthusiastically, leaving a long lasting impression on the audience. Ultimately, Advait -The Emerald Heights International School, Indore emerged as the winner. The first runner- up was Velvet Concord- DPS Nipania,Indore and the second runner - up was Rudraksh- DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal. Today Delhi Public School Rau gave the flavour and taste of Maker Sankrant in the form of vivacious , magnificent music Soiree. The Principal of Dps Rau was seen submerged in the beauty of melodious redention.

Himanshu Sharma bagged second position in an inter school Declamation competition 2022.

Delhi Public School ,Indore, organized an InterSchool Declamation Competition "ORENDA" on 29 OCTOBER, 2022, to hone the oratory skills among the students. Declamation is a rhetorical exercise or a set speech. Himanshu Sharma declamed an excerpt from MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. Speech . He spoke with full enthusiasm and raised the bar extremely high for the competition, wherein, each participant could feel their pulse roaring as he spoke confidently with expressions and excellent diction. He was appreciated by the judges for his dynamic presentation.

Parineeta Harode of class 3 secured 5th position in All India Yoga competition 2022. Organised by Madhya Pradesh yoga Association.
