Presidium 2025-26: Illuminates DPS Rau with Leadership and Spirit
A morning of colour, commitment, and ceremony unfolded at Delhi Public School, Rau, as the school hosted its prestigious ‘INVESTITURE CEREMONY- PRESIDIUM.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Shankar Lalwani, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Colonel Gaurav Dixit, Sena Medal awardee and Deputy Commander of NCC Headquarters, Indore. Principal Ms. Asha Nair, Vice Principals Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma and Ms. Vaishali Kharnal, along with other dignitaries, faculty, students, and parents, were present to witness the momentous occasion.
The ceremonial march-past by student contingents set a disciplined tone, culminating in the symbolic handing over of the school flag to the Principal. Following this, the names of the newly elected Prefectorial Board were announced and council members were adorned with badges and sashes as they took the oath of office, pledging integrity, leadership, and service.
The programme also featured a soulful musical tribute to Goddess Saraswati and a compelling theatrical presentation .
Promoting environmental stewardship, the school initiated a ‘Seed Badge’ campaign for parents and guests. A tree plantation drive, led by the chief guest, added a meaningful conclusion to the green initiative.
